JESAP INSTALLATION

During the JESAP installation phase, the newly developed program is made fully operational in the organization as a working and ongoing system.

RECLASSIFICATION

This step involves any required realignment of individual staff members with the new classification structure, based on the results of the job rating process. This enables the organization to properly place its staff within the adopted position descriptions and compensation structure.

TRAINING

A major component of the JESAP installation is the implementation of administrative procedures to be performed by key personnel as part of the ongoing process of the program. The installment period includes a thorough demonstration and training of prescribed techniques for those involved with JESAP administration. Once the program is in place, administrative procedures will be closely monitored to ensure effectiveness and proper implementation.

ACTION STEPS

Both deficiencies and inequities will be discovered during the Salary Administration phase of the project. Clearly, some may be of a magnitude that precludes short-term correction. In these individual cases, a plan of action is developed by the consultant and Committee for their resolution. It is important that these action steps be followed and carried out to ensure consistency within the organization's overall program.
